I will be on an electric scooter. I have a mobility disability. It will be just my husband and I. Does Disney world still let you in the exit of rides with one person accompanying me?

    Hey there, Angela!

I’m absolutely delighted to welcome you to planDisney! How exciting that you’re planning a fall visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. While any time is a great time to visit Walt Disney World, I really do love the not-so-spooky vibes of fall. The parks feel extra cozy and festive, with fun Halloween décor, seasonal treats everywhere you turn, and pixie dust in the air.

It sounds like it’s been a little while since your last visit, so I can only imagine how excited you must be right now! As you know, Disney is truly dedicated to helping every Guest experience the magic in a way that works for them.

As a wheelchair user myself, that commitment is one of the many reasons my family keeps coming back. Traveling with a mobility disability can sometimes feel overwhelming, but I’ve found that so much of that stress simply fades once we’re at Disney. The Cast Members are incredibly helpful, and the thoughtful accessibility offerings really make it easier to focus on what matters most…making memories that will last a lifetime.

Most attraction queues throughout Walt Disney World are designed to accommodate Guests using scooters and other mobility devices. For the small number of attractions where the standard queue isn’t fully accessible, Disney has thoughtfully provided alternative entrances so you don’t miss out on the experience.

For a small number of attractions, such as "it’s a small world" in Magic Kingdom and Spaceship Earth in EPCOT, the standard queue may not be fully accessible. In these cases, Disney provides clearly designated alternate entrances designed specifically to accommodate Guests using mobility devices. Once you arrive at the attraction, a Cast Member will guide you to the appropriate entry point or boarding area so you can enjoy the experience. It’s really that easy!

Angela, when it comes to talking about accessibility in the parks, as Captain America says, “I can do this all day.” So if any other questions come up, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. I really enjoy sharing my firsthand experience to help Guests like you feel more comfortable and confident planning their visit. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney!

    Magical Wishes,
