Aloha Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney! I’m staying at the new
Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows next month and am most excited to eat at
Wailulu Bar & Grill.
So I’m happy to share that all guests can enjoy the Polynesian-inspired food and breathtaking views of
Seven Seas Lagoon, even if you’re not a
Disney Vacation Club member! Wailulu Bar & Grill is also a great spot to watch the
Happily Ever After fireworks outside
Magic Kingdom.
In the morning, this eatery is a Quick Service location with Hawaiian Kona Blend coffee and grab-and-go breakfast items. For lunch and dinner, it transforms into a Table Service location available through a
walk-up list. To add your name, visit the Cast Member at the podium or use the
My Disney Experience app and select Join the Walk-Up List on the Wailulu Bar & Grill page (you’ll need to be nearby for this to work).
If you’re staying at the Polynesian (hotel room or DVC villa), you’ll also have the option to place a
Mobile Order through Wailulu Bar & Grill To Go in the My Disney Experience app. My family likes to mobile order food to eat on our hotel room balcony or on the beach.
For a sneak peek of the mouthwatering dishes at Wailulu Bar & Grill, check out the
Foodie Guide on the
Disney Parks Blog. I’m pretty excited to try the Spiced Ham Musubi and Dole Whip Sundae!
And while you’re there, don’t forget to look up to see the fish crafted from reclaimed fishing nets. Some of the Polynesian-inspired artwork you’ll see around the restaurant was made from recycled materials, which is pretty cool!
I hope to see ya real soon at this tropical oasis! And don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney with any other questions.
