Can I eat off of the children's menu as a young adult at Le Cellier Steakhouse, The Boathouse in Disney Springs, San Angel Inn Restaurante, Beaches and Cream, and Gasparilla Island Grill? I know each place has a different policy.

    Hey there, Moriah!

I’m so delighted to welcome you to planDisney. Thank you so much for bringing this absolutely delicious question our way! It’s always a treat to chat about all the incredible eats you’ll find during a visit to Walt Disney World. As Chef Remy once wisely said, “If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff!” And from the sound of it, you’re planning to fill your days with plenty of the very best bites, sips, and sweet treats the parks and resorts have to offer. What a tasty adventure ahead!

I completely understand, sometimes, as adults, those kids’ menu favorites are just too tempting to pass up (those chicken tenders are hard to resist!). In my experience, many Walt Disney World restaurants are happy to accommodate requests to order items from the children’s menu. However, it’s important to know that in most cases, the meal will be served as an adult-sized portion and priced accordingly.

One of the things that makes dining at Disney so special is the flexibility and kindness of the Cast Members. They truly go above and beyond to make your experience as smooth and magical as possible, so it never hurts to ask…especially if you have a specific craving in mind!

It sounds like you have a fantastic list of dining spots on your agenda! Just a quick reminder…if you’re staying at a Disney Resort, you can make your Advance Dining Reservations starting 60 days before your check-in date, and you’ll be able to book for your entire stay (up to 10 days) all at once. If you’re staying off property, you’ll still be able to make reservations 60 days in advance, but you’ll need to book each day individually rather than for your whole trip at once.

When you stop by Beaches & Cream, if you’re a fan of peanut butter, you absolutely won’t want to miss the famous No Way José sundae! It’s a decadent combination of peanut butter and hot fudge over ice cream, topped with whip cream and a cherry. It’s rich, indulgent, and perfect for sharing (or not!).

Moriah, I hope you have the very best trip. Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney!

    Savor every moment,
