Welcome Home, Sara! Thanks for visiting planDisney, the rootinest, tootinest vacation planning resource in the wild, wild west--the West Coast, in this case! You've got a friend in me, and I'm happy to help you out.
You are speaking my language with this question, as I'm currently planning my very first trip to
Disneyland Resort! The newly-opened
Pixar Place Hotel (formerly Paradise Pier Hotel) is at the top of the list for my ideal California adventure. I've watched several video tours of the public spaces and the hotel rooms, and I am enchanted by all of the unique touches inspired by beloved Pixar movies. Pixar Place also boasts a direct entrance to
Disney California Adventure Park, and Guests staying at this hotel can enjoy
Early Entry to both California Adventure Park and
Disneyland Park on select mornings!
I spoke to
Member Services and was able to confirm that your stay at Pixar Place Hotel will have to be reserved separately from the nights at one of the Disneyland DVC Resorts--T
he Villas at Disneyland Hotel and
The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Pixar Place, like the other non-DVC hotels operated around the world by Disney, is considered part of the
Disney Collection for Disney Vacation Club purposes. You'll simply need to contact the wonderful folks at Member Services, who can convert your
Vacation Points to Reservation Points for this Disney Collection exchange. Keep in mind that this transaction will require a one-time, non-refundable fee (currently $95, subject to change).
Sara, I hope this information is just what you're looking for! For additional planning questions related specifically to Disneyland Resort, I recommend reaching out to my planDisney pals
Cam and
Melissa--they are experts on The Happiest Place on Earth. Thanks again for visiting planDisney!
To Infinity and Beyond!
