Bonjour Carol, welcome home and welcome back to planDisney! As much as I love the sights and sounds of the France pavilion at EPCOT, sometimes I want the real deal with a visit to
Disneyland Paris! Luckily,
Disney Vacation Club provides us with some options, so let’s dive into what they are!
Carol, you’ll be happy to know that the answer to your question is a resounding
oui! In order to book a stay at Disneyland Paris using your Vacation Points, you’ll have to exchange your points through the Disney Collection, which is a collection of Resort hotels at various Disney resort destinations. You can view the point charts for the various Disneyland Paris hotels
here (scroll down to the bottom of the page where it reads “Disneyland Paris”). DVC currently has point charts for stays at various Disneyland Resort hotels through March 2027. I highly recommend staying at Disneyland Hotel so that you’ll be steps from the theme parks!
In order to complete booking, you’ll have to
contact Member Services. Here’s some important information regarding these types of exchanges. You have to be eligible for Membership Extras in order to do an exchange in the Disney Collection. You also have to pay a transaction fee to complete the exchange. Finally, these exchanges are subject to the
Rule of Four, which basically states that reservations taking place during your current Use Year need to be booked prior to the last 4 months of your Use Year.
Carol,
merci beaucoup for visiting planDisney and for your question! If you have any further questions on getting the most out of your DVC Membership, feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
