Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park for Moonlight Magic. This is without a doubt one of my favorite
Disney Vacation Club benefits and I’ve been fortunate enough to attend several of these already at EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Typhoon Lagoon. So let’s dive into your question on event hours!
Christine, similar to the other
Moonlight Magic events at the other theme parks, the one at Typhoon Lagoon starts shortly after the water park closes. But, you’ll also get to enter early as well! The last time I attended a Moonlight Magic at Typhoon Lagoon, our family was allowed to enter as early as 6:00 PM while the park was still open and the official event started at 8:00 PM and ended at 11:00 PM. Be on the lookout for any emails from DVC as Moonlight Magic approaches for further details, since operating times and event details are always subject to change.
Christine, you didn’t ask about this, but you’ll be happy to know that Disney will provide direct
bus transportation to Typhoon Lagoon from your DVC Resort. No need to transfer at Disney Springs! As a reminder, you’ll want to make sure you have your photo ID and your DVC digital membership ID when you check in. You’ll also want to make sure that the DVC Member who completed the registration is present along with your full party.
