Whenever you're planning your next DVC adventure, it's nice if you have some flexibility with your travel dates so that you can have options for your accommodations. The Member website does offer a calendar view so you can get a sense of month-to-month availability for a particular resort, but it takes a few steps to access it.
Start by logging into the Member website, and then navigate to the "Plan Vacation" tab and select "Book a Vacation". This will bring up the booking site - you will have to enter check-in and check-out dates initially, but you can select the specific DVC resort you're interested in and the type of accommodation that you prefer. Your results will come up as a list containing the specific studios and villas available at that resort, and you can click on any of those to see the calendar view. Simply toggle between the months to see availability and how many
Vacation Points are required for each night.
If your ideal accommodation type is not available, a good course of action is to book something with full availability and set up a
Waitlist for your first choice. I've done this at times when I had a little less wiggle room with my travel dates, and sometimes the stars align for your request to come through!
