DVC 2009-2 dogs no longer have pet sitter. Only DVC allow dog=cabins. stayed in cabin years ago. We will be at FW-Aug.in RV-next year we want to reserve cabin with dogs daily cleaning fee? still receive free laundry=if so tokens provided daily?

Hi there, Denise! What a treat to see you back at planDisney with another great vacation planning question. It looks like you'll be headed to Walt Disney World Resort next month courtesy of your Disney Vacation Club Membership, and I'm happy to help with some details about your stay so you can be prepared. Let's get right to it!

I love that you are thinking about booking The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort for your visit next year. The Cabins are some of my favorite DVC accommodations, combining all the comforts of "Home" with a relaxed forest setting. It's such a peaceful spot to come back to after a busy day in the parks!

Another great benefit of the Cabins is the ability to bring your best four-legged pal with you! Guests may have up to two dogs stay with them, and there is a cleaning fee (currently $50 per night, subject to change) that will be charged to your account.

As for laundry, I'm happy to report that DVC Members do receive tokens for the laundry machines at the Fort Wilderness Resort. You can request these at the Front Desk - keep in mind that laundry detergent is not provided, so plan to bring your own (I usually pack some detergent pods in a hard plastic container) or purchase some at one of the resort Trading Posts.

Denise, I took a peek at the Member Benefits page to see if there's any other current offers for DVC Members at Fort Wilderness. There is a discount offered on trail rides and carriage rides offered at Tri-Circle-D Ranch, so be sure to check that out if it's something you might be interested in!

I hope you have a wonderful RV trip next month, and that you'll soon be looking forward to a magical stay in the Cabins in 2027. Thanks for coming back to planDisney, and keep on sending those questions - we're always happy to help!

    Stay Magical,
