What is the drinking age in the park?

Cheers, Alayna, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with this question. Since Walt Disney World Resort welcomes visitors from all over the globe, the minimum age to partake of alcoholic beverages can be confusing. Let's toast to setting the record straight, shall we?

Across the United States, the legal age to order or consume alcohol is 21, and this holds true everywhere on Walt Disney World property. So, if you're at least 21, Alayna, you can choose from any libation on the menu. Although wine, beer, and cocktails can be found throughout the resort, EPCOT is my favorite spot to sample some fun beverages. As someone well past 21, I enjoy the occasional drink, with one of my favorites being the El Diablo Margarita at La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion. It has a real kick!

If you're not yet 21, I answered a question recently about "mocktails" at EPCOT, but my all-time favorite non-alcoholic drink is at Casey's Corner at Magic Kingdom Park. Nothing beats the festive, booze-free Frozen Mint Julep Lemonade on a warm Florida day. And my bonus tip is to use Mobile Ordering for a quick pick-up.

Alayna, grab your ID and have some safe fun in the theme parks, regardless of your age. Please stop by planDisney anytime because we always enjoy refreshments with friends.

    Magic awaits,
