Hi there, Emily!
I see you are a new Magic Key holder, congratulations!
If you purchased an
Imagine Key that is exclusively for California residents in zip codes 90000 to 93599 you are required to show a valid, government-issued photo ID to enter the parks, as outlined in the
Magic Key Terms and Conditions when you purchased your pass. At this time there is no accepted alternate identification. To use your Imagine Key you must have a government-issued photo ID. I'm sorry that isn't the news you were hoping for!
My best advice is to update your ID to reflect your current address as soon as possible. The good news is that you have up to a year to activate your Magic Key, so you aren't losing time on your pass. Alternatively, you could also consider upgrading your
Magic Key to a type that does not require proof of residency. I have the
Enchant Key and I love that it lets me hold up to four theme park reservations at a time instead of just two reservations like the Imagine Key.
I wish I had better news for you, Emily! I hope you can get your new ID soon and enjoy a full year of magic in the parks.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
