We are doing a split stay. Can we do the online check-in for our next resort before we officially checkout of our first resort? Thank you!

Hello Stacey, welcome to planDisney! Thanks for visiting us with your question, I love chatting with Guests about vacation planning.

My family often chooses to do a split stay at a Disney Collection Resorts hotel when we travel to Walt Disney World Resort. It's a fantastic way to explore more than one resort while on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Our last trip included a stay at Disney's BoardWalk Villas and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa; each resort had a unique theming and we loved it all!

With regards to check-in, yes, you can complete the online check-in for both Resorts in advance of your visit (around 60 days). You can see your Resort reservations by logging into your My Disney Experience account, hovering over the "My Disney Experience tab" and selecting "My Plans". If you prefer using your My Disney Experience Mobile app, select the "Future Plans" tile and then "Start Check-In Now".

A perk of online check-in is the Direct-to-Room Service which allows you to be notified that your Resort room is ready either by text message or through the My Disney Experience app. You'll be able to see your resort room number through the app as well which I find very helpful!

Stacy, I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning. Please don't hesitate to visit planDisney with any other questions!

    See ya real soon,
