Hello, Elizabeth, thank you for coming to planDisney with your question. I hope you found utilizing the mobile check-in through the
My Disney Experience app a smooth and easy experience. I have a stay coming up at the
Walt Disney World Resort myself, used mobile check-in, and will also be arriving in a rental car as well, so this question couldn't have come at a better time for both of us!
I spoke to a Cast Member to confirm for you (and me) that all you need to do when arriving at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is to show the Cast Member working at the parking lot entrance your reservation on your My Disney Experience app. They will confirm you as a guest and allow you to take advantage of the
complimentary overnight self-parking. There is no need to go to the front desk for a parking tag or pass to remain overnight. Any time you come and go from your resort you will follow the same process each time and you will be allowed to park without issue.
Elizabeth, don't forget that when staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you also have access to
complimentary transportation including bus, water, monorail, and Disney Skyliner access to get all around the Walt Disney World Resort, so parking your car for the duration of your stay may be your best bet!
I hope you have a fantastic visit!
Brent
