We are doing a split stay first at AOA then Wilderness lodge. If I have a food delivery sent to AOA will they transfer the stuff to wilderness lodge?

It's so good to see you back at planDisney, Lori! Thanks for stopping by on your way to Walt Disney World Resort. You'll be arriving in just a sleep or two, so let's talk about luggage transfer service between resorts for split stays.

Bell Services will happily transfer your luggage from one Disney Resort Hotel to another. This service is complimentary, but I always tip the magical Cast Members.

As for your initial grocery delivery, most resorts can store and refrigerate a few perishable items for a short time until you retrieve your order. You can pick up your groceries from Bell Services at no charge, or request delivery to your room for a fee.

But the process of transferring groceries between hotels can be a little trickier since the items could be in a warm vehicle for several hours.

Bell Services recently transferred my ginormous Mickey Mouse suitcase from Disney's Coronado Springs Resort to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Whew, they saved my back!

I also had a zippered canvas tote with items like peanut butter and sealed snacks that they brought to my new resort. They told me that they couldn't transport anything that needed refrigeration, so my pal Keri has some tips for handling that situation in this fabulous answer.

Also, you'll typically need to be in your new resort hotel room when you call Bell Services for your bags. I've found that they bring them within a few minutes. My final tip is to snap a photo of your claim ticket. I may or may not have misplaced my actual ticket while playing in the theme parks, so the photo worked perfectly!

Lori, I hope your visit is practically perfect in every way. You have two incredible resorts you'll call home, so I think you're going to have the most magical visit on Earth. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
