Hi there, Anna! Welcome to planDisney - it's great to meet you! I love that you are getting organized for a 2027 vacation at
Walt Disney World Resort. It will be here before you know it, and I'm happy to share some details that will make your split stay smooth sailing. Let's get to it!
A split stay is a pro move, allowing you to experience not one, but TWO magical Disney resorts in one trip. I have a few favorite places to stay whenever we visit The Most Magical Place on Earth, and dividing the time lets me enjoy the best of both worlds!
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is actually our
Disney Vacation Club Home Resort, and I know you're going to love it.
Anna, your first step is to make sure that both resort reservations and the additional 1-day park ticket for
Magic Kingdom Park are linked to your
My Disney Experience account. When it's time to book your
Lightning Lane passes next April, you should be able to make reservations for both stays at once. If you're considering
Lightning Lane Premier Pass, I personally think it makes the most sense at Magic Kingdom. We used it last year and managed to hit every attraction in the park in a single day - and we didn't even start especially early!
With the current booking process for Lightning Lanes, Guests staying on Disney property can reserve their Lightning Lanes starting at 7:00 AM, 7 days before their check-in date. Since your trip "Home" is still some time away, I recommend checking back closer to your vacation date as policies can change.
I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Anna! Thanks so much for sending your question our way, and please reach out again anytime if our planDisney crew can help with any other details to add a little extra pixie dust to your travels.
See Ya Real Soon!
Susan
