Lightning Lane Premier Pass to help get your (Donald) ducks in a row before your August trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. Let's get down to business!
Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows you to experience every eligible attraction in a single theme park once on the day it's purchased for. We tried it last summer when we visited
Magic Kingdom Park, and it was pretty great to be able to have a more leisurely day and visit the attractions when we felt like it, rather than having a strict schedule. I do think it's most useful at Magic Kingdom since there's so many different things to do, so you do get the most bang for your buck!
As you're staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel, you will be able to purchase Lightning Lanes starting at 7:00 AM, three days before your check-in date. While summer can be less crowded than peak travel seasons like the December holidays, Premier Pass availability is quite limited. Guests staying in a Disney Resort Hotel can purchase their passes starting seven days before arrival, so there is a possibility they will sell out. For your best chance at securing Lightning Lanes, I recommend making sure your
My Disney Experience app is updated, and that you are logged on a few minutes before 7:00 AM so you're ready to jump on any available passes!
