Hi Kelly!
Welcome to planDisney! What a fun challenge to take on! Let’s strategize…
I think you have the perfect plan starting off with Animal Kingdom and then moving on to Hollywood Studios. If I had to guess, you’ll be hopping on the Skyliner to Epcot after that and ending your day with a Monorail ride over to Magic Kingdom! Watching the nighttime show,
Happily Ever After, after completing your challenge would be the icing on the cake.
If you wanted to take your challenge a step further by also riding on all forms of Disney transportation in one day, you could take the ferry from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the Magic Kingdom…but that would slow you down a bit.
Ok, ok. I’ll stop living vicariously through you now!
I’m happy to let you know that there are
buses that run between Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. In my experience, this bus route begins at 10 AM.
If you were hoping to make your way over to Hollywood Studios before 10 AM, you have a couple of other options. You could
book a Minnie Van using the Lyft app, or as you mentioned, you could take a bus to a nearby resort then make your way to Hollywood Studios from there.
If your goal is to get on a ride at each park, you might want to consider using
Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass to save time by avoiding the long standby queues.
While you can only make Lightning Lane pre-selections in one park when using Lightning Lane Multi Pass with a valid park hopper ticket, you’ll open up the ability to book Lightning Lanes in any park after you scan into your first Lightning Lane of the day. Beyond that, after that first scan-in, you’ll be able to modify any current Lightning Lanes to attractions in other parks.
I wish you all the best as you take on your challenge! You got this!
