Hey there Jessica,
Welcome back to planDisney - you are an MVP and have earned your frequent flier miles here with some really great questions! So glad to get to help you with this one.
First, I'm so happy to hear you'll be visiting the Happiest Place on Earth this summer with your brother! I'm also happy to share that the recent updates to the
Disability Access Service (DAS) narrow the scope of this program to specifically help people with a developmental disability like autism.
To register for DAS, you'll either want to schedule a live video chat with a Cast Member, or on-site at an Accessibility Services window. I'm all for planning ahead though, and typically recommend the live video chat option to determine eligibility, which you can do as soon as 30 days in advance of your park visit.
Keep in mind that the maximum part size is the registered DAS Guest and up to 3 additional party members for a total of 4 people.
When you get within 30 days of your trip, you can request a live video chat on the
Registering for DAS page on the Disneyland Resort website. Additionally, the
Accessibility page was recently refreshed and now includes even more helpful resources for your visit!
Thanks again for your question, Jessica! I hope you all have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth later this year.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
