I understand that Disneyland is soon making changes to the Disability Access Service. I am a military war veteran with severe PTSD with symptoms including depression, anxiety and panic attacks. Will I still be qualified to use the DAS program?

    Welcome to planDisney, Peter!

I’m so glad you thought of us as you’re getting your Donald Ducks in a row for your next visit to The Happiest Place On Earth. I’m honored to share all the fantastic updates happening at Disneyland Resort, showcasing its dedication to being `A Place Where Everyone is Welcome. ‘

So Peter, let's dive into the adjustments to the Disability Access Service (DAS), beginning on June 18th. These changes are all about making sure that every guest, especially those needing special assistance, can fully enjoy the attractions.

Eligibility for DAS is a personalized experience guided by friendly and knowledgeable Cast Members. Whether it's a pre-screening chat or an in-person discussion during your visit, these Cast Members are trained to ensure your needs are understood and catered to with care.
And for guests with conditions like PTSD and Anxiety, the Disability Services team is just a virtual chat away, ready to address any questions or concerns about DAS and other services. And if you need it, Guest Relations can provide a device to access the virtual chat during your stay.

I hope this information brings you peace of mind, Peter! If you have more planning questions or need more tips, just visit me again. Consider me your go-to pal for all things Disneyland!
