Hiya, Daniela! Welcome to planDisney!
You are just days away from a Walt Disney World adventure! Woo hoo! I’m a huge baseball fan, so I understand that sometimes you have to make time for other interests and hobbies when on vacation. But that’s the magic of Walt Disney World! There’s something for everybody at the Vacation Kingdom
The best place to catch the UEFA Champions League final—and most other sporting events—is
Rix Sports Bar & Grill at Coronado Springs Resort. Not only does it have delicious food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (friend Oreos, anyone?), but it features 31 television screens throughout the restaurant. Another Walt Disney World Resort option is
Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary Resort. I stopped by the lounge on a recent visit and noticed multiple TVs with sports coverage above the bar. It’s a different atmosphere from Rix, but Steakhouse 71 is conveniently located near the Magic Kingdom if that’s where you happen to be on May 31st.
City Works Eatery & Pour House is a good choice if you’re near Disney Springs, and I’ve also seen recommendations for
the dining room at Splitsville Luxury Lanes. Other restaurants and lounges around Walt Disney World Resort may have TVs, and you can always ask a friendly Cast Member to put the match on, but I don’t believe any restaurants with televisions inside the theme parks.
Daniela, I hope this information helps you and your son enjoy your time at Walt Disney World. You can pop right back to planDisney if you have any other questions. Our knowledgeable panelists are here to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
