MagicBands aren't being so magical, so let's look at the best way to solve your issue.
Since time is of the essence, I recommend calling the
My Disney Experience/MagicBand help desk as soon as possible. They can look at your account information and troubleshoot with you on the phone. At first glance, I suspect your wife needs to have her band linked to her account, but her band might be assigned to the wrong guest. Cast Members will help straighten out any problems, so reach out to them for some pixie dust!
You can stop by
Guest Relations for assistance if you're already on Disney property. Locations are outside all theme park entrances, so you can get your bands assigned correctly before scanning in. My family enjoys heading to Disney Springs when we first arrive to shop and grab a bite. The
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs is my favorite spot to take care of any issues, and
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant is nearby for a fun celebration once everything is resolved.
