Can I make a Disneyland reservation for my daughter and her friends from my Disney account if I'm not going to the park?

Hi James! Welcome to planDisney! As a fellow parent, I know how helpful it can be to manage plans on behalf of our kids, especially when it comes to planning a magical Disney day. I'm happy to help!

The good news is that if your daughter's ticket and her friends' tickets are linked to your MyDisney account, you can absolutely make theme park reservations for them, even if you do not have a valid theme park ticket or reservation for that day yourself. Once the tickets are linked, simply visit the Theme Park Reservations page or use the Disneyland app to select the date and complete the reservation process on their behalf.

One important note, though: per Disneyland Resort policy, Guests under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a Guest who is at least 14 years old to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. If your daughter or any member of her group is under 14, be sure they are accompanied by someone who meets this requirement.

Since you'll be helping them get everything set up, I also recommend that at least one member of the group download the Disneyland app before they arrive. The app is one of the most valuable planning tools available to Guests. They can use it to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, check attraction wait times, view entertainment schedules, browse dining locations, mobile order meals, and even locate characters throughout the parks. Spending a few minutes exploring the app beforehand can make their day feel much more relaxed once they step onto Main Street, U.S.A.

Here's one more Q-Tip for their crew: encourage them to take full advantage of those first few hours after the parks open. Mornings often bring some of the shortest attraction wait times of the day, making it a great opportunity to experience favorites like Space Mountain in Tomorrowland or Indiana Jones Adventure in Adventureland before the crowds build. Later in the day, Lightning Lane Multi Pass can help them maximize their time and keep the adventure moving.

James, I hope this information helps you feel confident about helping your daughter and her friends have a wonderful visit. If you have any additional questions about theme park reservations, Lightning Lane Multi Pass, or helping visitors prepare for a day at Disneyland, please stop by planDisney again. We're always happy to help!

May your daughter's adventure be filled with laughter, unforgettable memories, and just the right amount of Disney magic!
