Hey there Elany,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! It looks like your trip to the Disneyland Resort is coming up next week - how exciting!
I'm thrilled to get your question because (1) we are a tall family (my kids have been off the percentile chart on height pretty much since they were born) and (2) we visited with both kids multiple times up to their 3rd birthdays.
In fact, we visited earlier this year when our daughter was the same age as yours now! I'm happy to report that Cast Members did not request proof of our daughter's age - even though she also was a tall almost 3-year-old.
Additionally, two highlights from our trip that I'd highly recommend were: utilizing the
Baby Care Centers and a visit to
Mickey's Toontown.
The Baby Care Centers were a lifesaver because they offered a cool and quiet area for a quick break for our family. They have changing tables, toddler-sized toilets, and a few tables and chairs to enjoy a quick snack. They also have vending machines with all of the important items that you might need to make a trip with a toddler more convenient.
Mickey's Toontown was reimagined last year and it is such an amazing place to let little ones explore. It has water play areas, playground elements, and there always seems to be a character or two walking around town. We spent quite a bit of time here as a family on our trip and enjoyed a fun picnic in a shady spot on one of the many green areas with food from
Cafe Daisy (I love the Pepperoni Pizza Flop-Over).
Thanks again for your question, Elany! I hope you enjoy your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth next week.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
