When will 2025 Disneyland 5k & 10k registration dates be release? Also where can I go for the details tips on registrations? It’s my 1st time & I want to be prepared for the queue. I saw thar half marathon registration is 6/18.

Hi there, Debbie. Welcome to planDisney! I'm glad you ran on by.

Good news - the registration date for the 2025 Disneyland 5K and 10K races is the same as the one for the 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon - June 18, 2024! All those races are part of the same race weekend, so the registration date is the same. Easy, right? It hasn't been announced exactly when registration will open on June 18, though it is usually first thing in the morning. The queue opened at 7:00 AM PDT/10:00 AM EDT for the most recent race weekend registration.

Now, let's get to what you need to know to register! At least a couple of days before race registration opens, create an account on runDisney.com if you don't already have one. Did you know that your Disney account is the same one that can be used to log into the runDisney, Disneyland, and Walt Disney World websites?

Next, have all the information for the people you hope to register for the races. This includes name, birthdate, address, shirt size, and email address for anyone you want to register. Certain information like emergency contact and shirt size can be changed later, but you'll want to make sure all contact information is correct.

Race weekends can sell out quickly, so be ready to join the queue when it opens! I recommend getting onto your computer or phone a few minutes before registration opens and having the specific race weekend event page open. When registration opens, a registration button on the event page becomes active, and you will click it to join the queue. Registration can take a few minutes or over an hour, so be prepared to wait.

My planDisney pal Betsy and I recently filmed a "Beginner's Guide to runDisney" podcast that I think you would enjoy, Debbie. It talks about everything from registering to race day and beyond, and I think it would help with your race prep. You can watch it on YouTube or your favorite podcatching platforms. Hopefully, it'll be helpful as you prepare for registration day!

Debbie, thanks again for stopping by. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to swing like Tarzan back over to planDisney and ask me. I am happy to help!
