We’re going to Disneyland for the Christmas Season. Is Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace worth it for food and fireworks viewing?

Hiya there, Raina, welcome back to planDisney!

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are magical and my favorite time of year to visit! I love that you’re considering a Dine Event. With the return of the "Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular on November 15, evenings at Disneyland Park are extra magical.

The Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace dining package is a good way to experience fireworks and have some delicious chilled eats and treats at the same time. If fireworks are a must for you and you’re fine with spending extra per person, then I would say it is worth it to have a dedicated viewing area. You can come and go as you please within your reservation window. There are a couple of caveats that come with this package. First, if you want to be able to see any projections that are part of the show, unfortunately, you will not be able to see them from the viewing area. Second, a reminder, fireworks are always contingent upon weather so if it is too windy, they may be canceled with no refund. However, the dining event will continue even if the fireworks are canceled. Dine event packages must be paid at the time of booking as well.

During one of my experiences dining at Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace, we had a canceled show but there were games and we even had a visit from Mickey and Minnie! While these experiences are not guaranteed each time, I will say that there was still Disney magic, lots of treats, and fun. There’s much to enjoy during the most festive time of year, so keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland on Instagram for announcements including jolly Disney Eats and spirited beverages that you may find throughout the resort.

Hope this information is helpful as you decide on whether you’d like to book reservations. The reservation window is open, so hop in to see if your desired date is available. As always, our door is open so pop over again if you have any other questions!

    Counting down to Christmas!
