Hi Angela! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
Your visit will be here before you know it! What are you most excited to experience? If you're looking to start dreaming about your magical day, a good place to start is the
Daily Events Calendar, which has scheduling information for parades, entertainment, and fireworks. You'll find other useful details there too, like planned refurbishments. While these details are subject to change or cancellation, I like to plan around my must-do activities when building my park day!
Part of my vacation plans always involves
dining and a little
shopping! There are various ways you can pay for the yummy meals, treats, and souvenirs during your visit to the parks. All major credit and debit cards, as well as
Disney Gift Cards, are conveniently accepted at most locations throughout the Disneyland Resort. We've found putting some funds on a Disney Gift Card to be a great way for the teen in our family to experience the parks independently. She can pick up a snack here and there or grab the perfect souvenir, keeping track of her spending with the printed balances on receipts, and we don't have to hand over a credit card to make it happen.
Many places accept cash as well. You'll find that table service locations, quick service, and shops currently accept cash. You might find that outdoor vending carts have transitioned in many cases to cashless locations, however. When I was visiting a couple of weeks ago, I noticed signage on these carts indicating that the location is cashless, so there are no surprises when it's time to pay. You'll also find
ATM locations in the parks if you need to withdraw more funds.
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
