Boo to you, Theresa! Thanks for coming back to planDisney today with your question! This is an exciting one as I've always dreamed of how fun it would be to experience both the magic of spooky season and the wonder of the holiday season on the same Disney trip! Let's get ready to get festive as we celebrate the changing of magical seasons!
Theresa, at this time, party dates and dates for ticket sales for this year's
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have not yet been released. Looking back at last year, the tickets went on sale on June 29 for Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and on July 6 for the general public. The best source of information is the
Disney Parks Blog, which will likely announce the dates for both the party and the ticket sales in advance. I'd start checking regularly in the next few weeks as we approach the window that lines up to last year's release!
In the meantime, make sure you check out all the details for both of these special events so you'll be prepared to make the most of your time at them! For both parties, Guests are able to enter the Magic Kingdom starting at 4 PM, allowing you a few extra hours of park time before the party begins! We love to take advantage of this earlier entry to ride a few of our favorite attractions and plan for the party events. These party nights require a lot of energy to see and do all of the extras, so consider spending the earlier part of the day relaxing or maybe enjoying some shopping and dining at
Disney Springs, so you'll be well-rested when you arrive to the party!
My favorite part of
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and catching my favorite characters in their Halloween costumes! Be sure to also take a spin on
Space Mountain - they cut off all the lights for an extra element of bone-chilling thrill! And what I love most about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A. and the Jingle Cruise overlay! Of course, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is also a favorite, so be sure to check it out!
Theresa, I hope this helps and I hope your dates are going to fall perfectly to enjoy both parties this year! If you have any other questions, come on back and let us know! At
planDisney, we're always ready to celebrate every magical season!
Happy Haunting and Happy Holidays,
Alison
