Hi! I am going on Disney wish 3 night cruise in July. Are there any theme nights to prepare for? Also how can I find the itinerary of events and what decks they are on?

    Ahoy there, Melissa!

Welcome aboard planDisney! With less than a week to go until you step aboard the Disney Wish, it's officially time to put the finishing touches on the planning side of your vacation. The countdown is almost over!

Although a 3-night sailing can feel like it flies by, the good news is that the current plan for your cruise includes Pirate Night on Day 2, after you've spent the day enjoying Nassau.

Pirate Night has become one of my family's favorite traditions. When my kids were younger, we went all out with pirate costumes. As they've gotten older, we've traded those for matching pirate-themed T-shirts, and it's just as much fun. One of the things I love most is that there's no expectation to dress a certain way. You'll see everything from elaborate Captain Jack Sparrow-inspired outfits to Guests wearing the complimentary pirate bandana Disney usually hands out that evening. Whether your crew wants to go full pirate or simply enjoy the festivities from the sidelines, you'll fit right in.

Once you're onboard, the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app becomes your go-to guide for everything happening on the ship. You'll find the full daily schedule, including Broadway-style shows, character greetings, trivia, deck parties, Funnel Vision movies, and so much more. This is also where you'll find your rotational dining schedule. Every activity includes the start time along with the exact location and deck, so it's easy to find your way around the Wish.

One tip my crew always takes advantage of is connecting to the ship's Wi-Fi while we're waiting in the cruise terminal. As soon as the Navigator app updates with our sailing, we start scrolling through the activities and tapping the little heart next to anything we don't want to miss. The app will usually send a reminder about 15 minutes before your favorited activity begins, which has saved us more than once when we got distracted by an ice cream cone, a character encounter, or simply admiring the beautiful Grand Hall. Just make sure notifications are turned on for the Navigator app so those reminders come through.

I hope this helps as you get ready to sail aboard the Wish! A 3-night cruise may be the shortest itinerary, but don't let that fool you. From the first blast of the ship's horn to the final hug goodbye with Captain Mickey, there's plenty of magic packed into every moment.

Sea ya real soon with sunshine on deck and fireworks lighting up the night sky,
    Dustin
