Hi there, Susan!
Welcome aboard and thanks for your question!
Adding ground transportation to your Disney Cruise Line reservation is a great way to simplify your travel plans and keep the magic going just a little bit longer. I'm happy to share that there are ground transfers available between George Bush Intercontinental Airport and the port at Galveston for sailings in 2024. Hooray!
I recommend calling to add ground transfers to your reservation well in advance, since seats may be limited. When you call to add your ground transfers you'll need to have your flight information available so that you can be scheduled on a vehicle that suits your schedule. When you arrive at the airport you'll need to pick up any checked bags and then look for a Disney Cruise Line representative outside the baggage claim area to direct you to your transportation. With a happy thought (you're going on a cruise, that part should be easy) and some pixie dust, you'll be on your way to the port!
It looks like you will be sailing on the
Disney Magic for this cruise! I love this ship because it's home to my favorite Disney Cruise Line show,
Tangled: The Musical. The story, the music, the lanterns...it's all gorgeous! Maximus, the dedicated and extremely vigilant palace horse, is brought to life with an incredible puppet that is just fantastic. I consider this show a must-see, I hope you will love it!
There's one more special thing about your upcoming adventure: it's a
Very Merrytime Cruise! You'll find lots of seasonal activities on the ship, for all ages. I especially love the incredible holiday decorations, including the stunning tree in the atrium! Bring your favorite holiday gear and take all the photos!
Safe travels to you, Susan! Let us know if you have other questions about your sailing.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
