Hello Laura!
Welcome to planDisney! It's lovely to meet you. I see that your visit is very soon, so let's jump right in!
Disability Access Service (DAS) at the Disneyland Resort is designed to help guests with autism and other developmental disabilities who cannot wait in traditional queue environments. DAS provides guests with a return time that is similar to the current standby wait for an attraction. There are two ways to
register for DAS: - Have a live video chat to determine eligibility and register up to 30 days before your visit.
- Visit Accessibility Services at the resort ticket booths to determine eligibility and register in person.
I highly recommend the live video chat option so that you have everything figured out before your park visit. Video chats are available between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Pacific Time by clicking the "Request Live Chat" on the
DAS Registration webpage. Please make sure that you have the guest(s) who qualify for DAS available for the video chat as well.
If DAS is not the right solution for your party then the Cast Member can recommend other
accessibility accommodations at the parks that can help you have a great visit. The
Accessibility Planning Guide & Recommendations document available online is a very helpful resource, too! You can also view special
Theme Park Guide Maps for Guests with Disabilities online to prepare for your day in the parks.
Thanks again for your question, Laura. Hopefully the information and resources here will help you have a great weekend at the Disneyland Resort!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
