Brenda, thanks for stopping by planDisney today, I am happy to help you get started planning your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Let's go plan an adventure in the great wide somewhere!
Let's start with resort reservations. I suggest taking a peek at the Walt Disney World website and seeing the different, magical resorts that make up the
Disney Resorts Hotel Collection. All of them are uniquely themed, are close to the theme parks, and have dining options available on-site. Walt Disney World has them categorized into three options: Deluxe, Moderate, and Value, there is a resort for any family, no matter the budget. Once you decide which one "fits the glass slipper", you can speak to a Cast Member at the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations office, and they'll be more than happy to assist you with booking a resort vacation package, complete with park tickets, and a
dining plan if you choose to have one. They'll also be able to tell you all about the latest
special offers that are available at that time. At your 60-day window before arrival, you can begin making Advanced Dining Reservations for table service restaurants. I highly suggest going for the hardest to get first (such as Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', California Grill, and Be Our Guest Restaurant), followed by any others you have on your list. If you're not able to book the restaurants you want at that time, well, Hakuna Matata! I have been able to make last-minute reservations by checking my My Disney Experience mobile app daily up to the beginning of my visit and find
some openings.
Walt Disney World also offers
Disney Private VIP Tours that will coordinate with you and the other members of your group (up to 10 guests total) and offer a personalized itinerary of all the attractions and shows you want to experience, and you will be assisted by a wonderful VIP Tour Guide that will provide fun facts about Walt Disney World. Prices begin at $450 to $900 an hour (depending on the season), with a minimum of 7 hours. Keep in mind that theme park tickets are separate from this price too.
I hope all of this information (I know, it's a lot!) helps you get started on planning what will surely be the most "practically perfect in every way" visit to Walt Disney World, Brenda. Please stop by again with other questions you have before your visit. You've got a
friend in me!
