Adam from MA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Does Disney still have rider switch for Rise of the Resistance? I know it did in the past, but it's no longer listed as one of the attractions that offers the service on the website: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/rider-switch/.

Bright suns, Adam, and welcome to a panel far, far away: planDisney! Rider Switch service is an excellent tool for families with young padawans, so let's see if we can be rebel spies to find out if you can use it on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I checked the Rider Switch page, and you are correct that this attraction is not listed as having the option. However, you'll see a map if you scroll down to the bottom of that page. Click near Disney's Hollywood Studios, and you'll see location icon pins with stars to indicate attractions that utilize Rider Switch. The Force is with us because Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance IS listed on the map as an attraction where you can use this service.

I also double-checked with a Jedi Cast Member named Rose Michelle who confirmed that this attraction does allow parties to swap waiting in line with younglings who don't meet the height requirement. Although policies are subject to change, it appears you should be able to jump to lightspeed on your visit this week!

Check out the photo opportunities while you're at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. My favorite is the Lightsaber Prop photo. You'll find it by following the glowing lightsabers. My favorite time to experience this PhotoPass opportunity is right after dark falls; the pictures are out of this world!

Adam, I hope your upcoming visit is as happy as an Ewok in the forest. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
