huge fan of split stays at Walt Disney World. My family loves booking split stays as a way to save money, optimize our plans, or just to experience the joy of a new-to-us Disney resort! I'm so excited to help you make your split stay smooth and seamless, so let's get right to your question!
Jessica, I'm so happy to share that Disney does offer complimentary luggage transfer between Disney resorts. My family has taken advantage of this service so many times, and it's one of the biggest reasons we love split stays so much.
Bell Services makes transfer day so convenient and easy - it's Disney magic at its finest!
To initiate your luggage transfer, just call Bell Services from your hotel room. A Disney Cast Member will meet you at your room to collect your luggage, and you'll be free to hit the parks for the day. Remember to pack any necessities in your park bag, since your luggage may not arrive at your next resort until later in the day. Depending on our plans, my family might pack our swimsuits, a change of clothes, or anything else we may need.
Finally, I like to throw a Bluetooth tracker (such as an Apple AirTag) into my luggage on transfer day. While I have never had a mixup with my luggage during a split stay (as I said, Bell Services is MAGIC!), it's always nice to have that extra peace of mind. And as an added bonus, I can see exactly when my items arrive at my next resort so I know when I can access my belongings.
