Hi there, Chanel! Welcome to planDisney. I’m happy to help with your question.
You’re just a few days away from your Walt Disney World adventure [cue excited screaming]! What’s the first stop on your vacation itinerary? Magic Kingdom? Hollywood Studios? A relaxing pool day after your cross-country travels? Whatever you decide, I’m sure it will be magical.
There are different payment rules
depending on what you’re purchasing, but there is no official Disney payment program. If you’re just purchasing theme park tickets, then the total balance needs to be paid at the time of purchase. If you’re purchasing a vacation package (theme park tickets and hotel) then there is a $200 deposit (prices subject to change) when you make your reservation and the remaining balance is due 30 days before your trip. It’s worth mentioning, though, that since you’re trip is so close you would need to pay the full balance when you make the reservation. Lastly, if you are only booking a hotel room at a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel then there will be a deposit equal to one night’s stay, and the remaining balance is paid at check-in.
Once you’ve made your purchase, you can make additional payments towards your remaining balance at any time and in any amount by
calling a Cast Member for assistance or online through your My Disney Experience account. You’ve picked a great time to visit Walt Disney World, Chanel. The
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has just kicked off and there are so many fun things to do at the park. The topiaries and special food options are always worth exploring, and be sure to stop by Butterfly Landing, the interactive butterfly garden near the Imagination Pavilion.
I hope this information is helpful. You can pop right back to planDisney if you have any other planning questions or need recommendations for hotels, dining, or attractions.
Magical travels!
Matt
