Ahoy there, Cory!
Welcome aboard planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question to us.
We are all looking forward to sailing away on the
Disney Magic to
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! I have wondered the same thing about which side of the ship has the better view of this new island paradise. I checked in with Cast and Crew Members and they have not been given this information just yet. So, I suggest that you
call Disney Cruise Line when you are ready to make your reservation since this magical news may be available by then and a Cast Member can assist you in selecting your stateroom.
If the view is important to you, Cory, another thought is that you might be able to
select a different stateroom, if one is available and your reservation allows for changes, after the news is announced. Of course, if you choose a new room that results in a higher fare, you will need to pay the difference. If you booked directly through Disney Cruise Line, log into
My Cruise Reservations and then select View Details. If your reservation qualifies for changes, you will be able to upgrade or modify your stateroom category, type or location, if another room is available. If you booked through a travel agent, you will need to contact them directly.
I hope you enjoy soaking in all that Disney Lookout Point at Lighthouse Cay has to offer! I am excited to see how Disney Cruise Line pays tribute to Bahamian culture through the design and art installations around the island from local artists. Something about the beach always makes me hungry, so I'm intrigued by the adult-exclusive market-style dining area. I could go on and on, Cory, about what I look forward to! I hope you get the perfect view as you sail into this special new port!
Let us know if you have other questions or would like to chat about ways to make the most of your Disney Cruise Line vacation!
Wishing magical views at sea,
Shannon
