Hi there, Corbi!
Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question! Congratulations on your grandson's wedding! It must be so exciting to see your grandchildren so happy! Corbi, I love a Disney Cruise Line vacation with other adults (no offense, kids!). You will be happy to know there are plenty of adult-friendly areas on the Disney Wish, so I'll share some of my favorites.
Once you board the ship, check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for all the adult-exclusive events during your cruise. There is always something happening at
Luna, from game shows and karaoke. It is so much fun to cheer on other Guests or try it yourself! During the day, look for one of the many trivia games hosted by talented Cast Members. You will receive a highly coveted medal if you win. Good luck!
Though it is open to kids during the day,
Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge is just for adults at night. This out-of-this-world lounge is filled with intergalactic surprises and delicious cocktails and mocktails. When you are ready to blast to another venue, just across the way is
The Bayou. The deep green velvet seating and the fireflies overhead create a magical atmosphere. If you can, nestle your group into one of the gazebos!
If you are looking to unwind, book a massage or spa treatment at
Senses Spa & Salon and the Rainforest Room and deck. Remember, these services require a reservation and an extra fee. You can make reservations as soon as your
booking window opens or check availability once you board.
There are also two adult-only stunning dining experiences on the Disney Wish,
Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement and
Palo Steakhouse. These gorgeous venues offer brunch and dinner for an additional charge and must be booked in advance (when your booking window opens). You can always enjoy the enchanted atmosphere of
The Rose, where you can try some small plate 3-Michelin-starred delights from the same kitchen preparing the meals in the dining rooms.
Now, since your cruise should stop at
Disney Castaway Cay, make your way to Serenity Bay, the amazing adult beach. You can take the shuttle to the beach or rent a bicycle and pedal your way down while you explore the island and return your bike to Windsock Hut.
Corbi, opportunities to be a kid at heart are part of the magic of a Disney cruise so check them out, too. For instance, there is nothing like a hug from Captain Minnie or her pal Goofy, especially in their sailing attire. And I love splashing down the
AquaMouse!
I have so much more to tell you, but I've run out of space! Please
write back to me if you would like to learn more about making the most of your adult-only vacation!
Wishing you magical memories,
Shannon
