Hi there, Ashley!
Thank you for sending your question to planDisney. I am happy that you reached out to us! Disney Gift Cards are the best kinds of gifts. I usually save my Disney Gift Cards until I reach a goal amount and then combine them on the
Disney Gift Card website. Each gift card can have up to a $1,000 value. With a million things to juggle as a mom, it is easier for me to manage fewer cards!
I have been able to
make payments using a Disney Gift Card for Disney Cruises in the past. After signing into your reservation, click on "Make a Payment". Enter the payment amount and enter your Disney Gift Card information in the "payment method" menu. It should be pretty straightforward! If you change or cancel your Disney Cruise reservation, the funds will most likely be refunded to whatever method you used to pay for your cruise. I recommend keeping your Disney Gift Cards until debarking from your cruise in case any funds need to be applied back to that Disney Gift Card.
I love using Disney Gift Cards to pay for Disney Cruises, which are one of my family's favorite ways to enjoy time together! My kids love spending part of each day in
Disney's Oceaneer Club, a magical play area just for kids. While they are enjoying their independence and exploring their creativity, my husband and I like to relax in one of the
adult-only areas. Afterward, we come together to play in the pools (and slide down the
AquaMouse when sailing on the
Disney Wish).
Ashley, I hope this information was helpful. If you have other questions, please send them to planDisney!
Happy sailing!
Jen
