Hi there, Lee, and welcome back to planDisney!
I must say: You have fantastic taste.
Jiko—The Cooking Place ranks highly on my list of top Walt Disney World Resort restaurants. I seriously have dreams of the Giraffe Bread… I am more than happy to help answer your question about how to make use of your electronic
Disney Gift Card, Lee.
You can most definitely use a digital Disney Gift Card at a table-service restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort. You’ll want to either print the barcode that is in your gift card’s email or be ready to walk to the register with the Cast Member who is serving you so that you can scan it. I have done the latter in the past at
Disney’s Hollywood Brown Derby. The Cast Member was super friendly, and I took the short walk from my seat to the register to pay for my party’s meal.
Something else that I’ve done (and actually before my latest meal at Jiko, of all places), I have transferred the funds on my digital gift card to an old physical Disney Gift Card of any value that I already had in my possession. If you don’t already have a physical card, you could buy one and add both cards to your "My Cards” section of your account on disneygiftcard.com. Transfer the funds from one card to the other, and then you can easily have the Cast Member serving you use the card as if it were a debit or credit card.
Lee,
please let us know if you have other Disney vacation planning questions or if you need fun recommendations about how to maximize your visit. I just know that you’re going to have the BEST time, especially because you have a dining experience on your menu!
Magic always,
LeAndra
