I have purchased Disney gift cards from Costco. I have read and understand the workaround for combining them to a physical or to combine them to add to the apple wallet. What about the google wallet? link in email when purchasing $25 card as well?

    Hi there, Trevor!

Thanks for asking for additional clarity regarding adding a Disney eGift card purchased at Costco to your Google Wallet. I appreciate you reading my answer to another Guest for adding these to an Apple Wallet, and I’m happy to provide the details for you for your Android platform.

Yes, you’ll be pleased to know that the icon to “Add to Google Wallet” is also provided (with the Add to Apple Wallet icon) in the delivery email when purchasing an eGift Card from shopDisney. I confirmed that it’s in my email from this recent test in providing the original workaround instructions, so it should be a quick and intuitive workflow to click and add from there on your Android device. I’ve also been able to add the value of these Disney eGift Cards purchased from Costco to an existing Disney gift card already in my Apple Wallet through the Disney Gift Card website to transfer funds, without making an additional purchase, if that scenario applies to you.

I hope this is helpful and an easy way for you to use these gift cards purchased at a great value from Costco electronically on your travels, Trevor.

If you want to continue to go digital on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, be sure to create a Disney MagicMobile Pass which will also add your vacation entitlements (such as theme park tickets and Genie+ attraction reservations) to your Google Wallet. Being able to quickly scan into the theme parks and attraction queues, plus paying with your digital wallet, makes for a seamless Disney day! On my most recent trip, I used a MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile Pass, Disney eGift Card loaded to my Apple Wallet, traditional debit card, and a traditional plastic room key interchangeably for different situations with my family. This experience was seamless, so please know you can use digital and physical tools to your comfort throughout your vacation. There are many ways to access the magic, so pick which is best for you in the moment.

I really appreciate you researching your question on planDisney and following up with additional questions! Our team takes great pride in providing Disney details to Guests to help you make the most of these special vacations. Please reach out again for anything else needed as you plan this incredible trip.

Wishing you a wonderful vacation with the magic of technology,
