We are on the Disney dining plan and want to eat at Casey’s corner. As a meal credit - does the frozen mint lemonade count as my drink with my meal OR does it only include fountain drinks as the included drink. I do not want to use a snack credit

    Hey there, Whitney!

Thanks for stepping up to the plate with another great question. As a loyal fan of Casey's Corner (still waiting on that giant foam finger to arrive as proof), I'm happy to assist!

You'll be hitting a home run with your Disney Dining Plan at this all-star establishment, which is the perfect destination for a 7th-inning stretch or a quick time-out between Magic Kingdom Park's thrilling attractions. My family loves placing a Mobile Order here and savoring our mini corn dogs (with a side of cheese sauce to dip, naturally) while enjoying the musical talents of Casey's Corner Pianist. These Cast Members are so impressive and get the crowd ready to root for the home team every time they perform.

Whether you're on the Disney Dining Plan or Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, redeeming a Quick-Service Meal includes 1 Entree and 1 Nonalcoholic Beverage (or an Alcoholic Beverage for guests 21+ at eligible locations). Guests aged 10+ can choose from milkshakes, fresh smoothies, premium hot chocolate, soda, coffee, or tea as well as specialty beverages, where offered. For younger rookies (ages 3-9), the beverage lineup may vary so checking in person is always a good call. Just a heads-up, specialty beverages in souvenir containers aren’t typically dining plan eligible.

I reached out to a Cast Member specifically about the Frozen Mint Julep Lemonade and you'll be glad to know that this specialty beverage should qualify as your drink option when redeeming a Quick-Service Meal. If you want to keep the Mint Julep party going back home, check out this Green Tea Berry Mint Julep recipe from Disney Parks Blog. The article also spotlights other Walt Disney World Resort locations where you can sip versions of this refreshing drink, with a grown-up twist.

I'd also like to mention that using the My Disney Experience Mobile app is a great way to maximize your time and streamline your Quick-Service dining experience. My fellow panelist Ashley explains how the app will prompt you during checkout to ensure you redeem the full value of your dining plan meal.. You'll be able to confirm exactly what's being redeemed before finalizing your order and can even use the app to keep track of remaining meals throughout your trip.

Whitney, I hope this was helpful. It's time for me to hang up my jersey and take a seat in the planDisney dugout for a bit, but it's been such an honor to be a part of this team for the past 2 seasons. We have a stellar lineup of panelists ready to go to bat for any future questions you might have, so please come slide right back into our queue again soon.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
