do Disney cruises offer drink packages? Where can I find the prices of extras at Lookout Cay and other stops?

Ahoy there, Rich! Sending a hearty welcome to planDisney! Thank you for this great question, as I too love to drink up me hearty, yo ho!

Disney Cruise Line does not offer a traditional drink package like you might find on other cruise lines. Personally, I love this! Carbonated beverages, lemonade, tea, and coffee are included in your cruise fare and readily available around the ship, so there is no need to purchase a soda package. Since I am not much of a coffee drinker, a refreshing tea or soda is usually how I grab my morning caffeine!

If you are looking for beverages with a little extra pixie dust, you have several fun options. Guests ages 21 and over may bring two bottles of unopened wine or champagne, no larger than 750 ml, or six beers, no larger than 12 ounces, in their carry-on luggage at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call. You are welcome to enjoy these in your stateroom, perhaps paired with cheese and crackers delivered right to your room through the included 24-hour Room Service. You can also bring wine or champagne to the main dining room to enjoy with dinner for a small corkage fee.

I also love ordering the Drink of the Day! It often comes with a souvenir cup, and you can find the daily details in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, which is also where you will see daily activities and extras, so make sure you have that downloaded before you board! There is something about the Sail Away Party that feels extra magical with a festive drink in hand!

To explore Port Adventures and extras available at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, along with the other ports on your sailing, visit the Disney Cruise Line website. From the top menu, click on Destinations and scroll down to Port Adventures. You will find a list of ports your cruise visits, including a special section dedicated to Disney Lookout Cay. My family loves to snorkel, so whether we prebook our snorkel rental, or book the Tropical Reef Safari Snorkel, it’s great to check out the details and prices well in advance so we can plan our perfect day.

Rich, I hope your Disney Cruise Line vacation is filled with happiness, unforgettable memories, and plenty of magical moments! We are always here if you have more questions as you continue planning.

    Bon Voyage!
