can Disney Cruise Line help with hotels before and after a cruise?

Ahoy, Gena! Welcome aboard planDisney! I’m somewhat of an expert when it comes to pre- and post-cruise Walt Disney World stays, and it really is one of my favorite ways to make an already amazing vacation feel even more magical!

If you’re already booked on your cruise, you’ve got a couple of great options. You can hop over to the Walt Disney World website to check availability at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels. I’ve stayed at almost every one, and truly, there is no bad port of call here! Staying on property keeps everything feeling immersive from start to finish. You can pick your dates for before and after your cruise and book those nights separately online.

Another option is to call a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Specialist. They can help you navigate pre- or post-stays at Walt Disney World or near the ports, and talk through what makes the most sense for your plans. And here’s a fun “did you know?” for your itinerary: Disney Cruise Line offers ground transportation between select Walt Disney World hotels, or Orlando Airport, and Port Canaveral, which makes embarkation day feel extra smooth! There are options for other departure ports as well! Check with a Cast Member today to best determine which options work best for you! It’s a super convenient way to get from resort to port without feeling like you’re hauling your plans around like extra luggage.

Last year, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary on the Disney Wish, and we did the “bookend” stay, with nights both before and after the cruise. It was the perfect way to chart our own course and stretch the magic a little longer! If you’re sailing from a different port, it’s still worth giving Disney Cruise Line a call so a helpful Cruise Specialist can help you map out what’s available for your specific route and dates.

Gena, I just know your vacation is going to be extraordinary! Come back by anytime to ask more questions, pick up a few tips, or tell us all about your trip once you’re back on land. We’ll be here, ready to celebrate with you!

    Magic awaits!
