Ahoy, Gayla! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing us your Disney Cruise Line question about ground transportation.
The exact offerings and prices vary by
departure port, but generally speaking Disney Cruise Line does offer guests the option of adding
ground transfers to their reservations for transportation between the port and closest airport on embarkation and debarkation day. Additionally, guests staying at the
Walt Disney World Resort hotels before or after their cruise also have the option of adding ground transportation between their hotel and
Port Canaveral specifically. At this time, Disney Cruise Line only offers buses from Disney World to cruises departing from Port Canaveral, so guests sailing from
Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale must use alternative forms of transportation.
Currently, you can add round-trip airport transfers to your reservation online, but you must call Disney Cruise Line directly at (800) 951-3532 to add a one-way transfer or to book Disney World hotel transportation options for Port Canaveral. Cast members are available to speak with you Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST. Be sure to have your cruise reservation number ready and they will help you add ground transportation for your entire party.
If you have any other questions about ground transportation at a specific port, then please feel free to reach back out to planDisney. Happy sailing!
