Caroline from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

is there a discount for guests on June 18 since the park is not open until 10 o'clock?

Hi Caroline! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

Unfortunately, the parks don't operate on a permanently fixed schedule of operation. The Daily Events Schedule is a great place to check the park hours for your upcoming park day. Sometimes the parks close a little earlier. Schedules are subject to change, but there's never a discount related to park hours. I'm sorry if that's not the news you were hoping for today.

You are free, however, to change your park reservation to another available day if the park hours for your current day don't seem like enough magic. If you've purchased a one-day ticket, tickets are priced by tier. Select a theme park reservation day of equal or lesser value at no extra cost, or pay the difference to select a higher-tier day. Availability is not guaranteed. Additionally, you can typically add Park Hopper to your existing ticket and hop over to Disney California Adventure Park, which is open until 10 PM on that date.

If you'd like to add Park Hopper for an additional cost, you can do so using the Disneyland mobile app. Tap the My Tickets & Pass tile on the home page of the app. Find your ticket and tap Change Ticket or Upgrade. Have your method of payment ready.

Sometimes, when the parks are closing a little earlier, people make reservations for the other park, which could mean you experience a slightly lighter day at Disneyland Park. That might be an unexpected bonus! Regardless, I hope you have a fantastic time.

    Have a magical day.
