My dinner reservations at sci fi restaurant is running behind do to the restaurant over booking. Can I get a refund on my reservation

    Hey there, Carmela!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with a question about your recent experience at the Walt Disney World Resort. It sounds like you're currently on-site spending time at The Most Magical Place on Earth - how exciting! I hope your trip is off to a fantastically fun start. I'd be happy to help you understand the cancellation policy for Walt Disney World Resort dining reservations.

Carmela, I'm so sorry to hear you had a bit of a wait at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant last night. In my experience, the ambiance and atmosphere at this unique dining location are worth the wait, but I understand the disappointment if your dinner plans run into other agenda items (like nighttime spectaculars) as a result. At the time of writing, dining reservations can be canceled without penalty up to two hours before the scheduled reservation time. If you ended up not dining due to timing constraints and were charged the per-person "no show" fee, then I encourage you to revisit Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant today to discuss the matter with the Cast Members at the dining location. Alternatively, you could stop by a Guest Relations location to understand your options. However, I do hope the restaurant was able to get you seated and you ended up enjoying a fabulous meal!

If you'll be spending another enchanting day at The Most Magical Place on Earth today, I recommend a visit to EPCOT, Carmela. The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is happening now, bringing beautiful buds and blooms as well as savory snacks to the World Showcase! Outdoor Kitchens scattered throughout the theme park offer delicious quick bites with limited wait times. Be sure to pick up a Festival Passport as you enter the theme park so that you can map out your "must eats" throughout the day!

Carmela, I hope you've found this information helpful as you continue to enjoy your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth. If there are any other topics we might be able to help out with during your trip, please feel free to stop back by planDisney throughout your visit! We're here to help you make magical memories at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
