Hi Michelle!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I'm so excited to hear you'll be dining with Disney royalty at
Cinderella's Royal Table! It's such a beautiful atmosphere, with
delicious food and a chance to
meet the Disney Princesses. I understand your dilemma with possibly missing the fireworks during your meal.
The
Happily Ever After fireworks show at
Magic Kingdom Park is one of the most beloved nighttime experiences at Walt Disney World. I was so thrilled when it returned after the limited-time run of Disney’s Enchantment! The show features awesome fireworks, projections on
Cinderella Castle, and music that includes classic Disney songs and an original theme song performed by Jordan Fisher and Angie Keilhauer (a song at the top of my playlist!). The highlight of the show is Tinker Bell’s flight over the crowd.
With a 7:30 PM reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table,
depending on the time of year and the show’s start time (usually around 9:00 PM), you may have time to enjoy your meal and still step outside in time for the show. If you finish your dinner early, you can head out into the park for the best view. The hub area in front of the castle offers a wonderful viewing spot, where you can see the fireworks and projections.
That being said, you certainly don’t want to rush your meal at the castle – it’s a magical experience in itself! I highly recommend the Grilled Filet Mignon and the Celebration Champagne Flight – certainly a meal you want to relax and enjoy.
If you’d like to dine at an earlier time to ensure you’ll be able to watch the fireworks after your meal, I encourage you to keep checking to see if you can modify your reservation on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Guests are always changing and rearranging their plans, even up to 24 hours before their reservation, so you might be able to adjust your dining time.
Even if you decide to stay inside during the show, the atmosphere in Cinderella’s Royal Table during Happily Ever After is quite special. The combination of dimmed lights, the castle's beauty, and the music from the fireworks create a truly enchanting dining experience. However, due to the limited view through the castle’s small windows, you won’t be able to see the full fireworks display or the castle projections.
Whether inside Cinderella Castle or outside in the hub, the magic of Happily Ever After is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories.
May your evening be filled with Disney magic and a happily ever after of your own!
