Hey there, Delilah--welcome back to planDisney! I'm so excited to see that you're arriving TOMORROW for your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Don't forget to pack your most comfortable shoes and your most fabulous Minnie Mouse ears!
I see that you have plans to visit
EPCOT next week--what great timing, as you'll be able to enjoy the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. From the iconic character topiaries to the delectable festival food offerings, it is a feast for the senses! We like to spend the afternoon sampling tasty treats before enjoying the
Garden Rocks concert series in the evening. Some of the featured artists for the upcoming week include Rick Springfield, Modern English, and The Commodores!
As for your dinnertime dilemma, it may be difficult to catch a 9:00 PM showing of EPCOT's enchanting nighttime spectacular,
Luminous The Symphony of Us, based on your 8:05 dinner reservation. I usually plan for 60-75 minutes for a table-service meal at Walt Disney World. Luminous is
scheduled to begin at 9:00 all this week, so if the fireworks are your priority, we can definitely come up with an alternate agenda!
If your EPCOT day won't be complete without an Italian feast at
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria (it's one of our favorites, too!), keep checking the newly-updated
My Disney Experience app for earlier reservation times. Guests' plans change frequently, and I'm usually able to find a time that works for our family with a bit of persistence and pixie dust! You'll also be able to search for available options at different restaurants all around the park. I recently re-discovered
San Angel Inn Restaurante on our last visit to EPCOT and it was a fantastic dinner.
Well, Delilah, I've got so much left to say, but you need to finish packing so you can be on your magical way to Walt Disney World! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, and don't hesitate to reach out again if we can help with any other questions.
See Ya Real Soon!
Susan
