Hi Philip,
I'm so glad you decided to be our guest again at planDisney! You're already within your 60-day
advance dining reservation booking window so you've come to the right place for guidance. Disney dining is a topic close to my heart and I'm happy to assist!
Fireworks are scheduled nightly at two theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort.
Happily Ever After, my personal favorite, is currently scheduled for 8:45 p.m. on April 6th at Magic Kingdom Park.
Luminous The Symphony of Us is on the schedule for 9 p.m. on the same evening at EPCOT. Keep in mind that entertainment schedules are subject to change, but you'll have a few dining options depending on the nighttime spectacular you plan to view. Let's dig in!
Though Happily Ever After lights up the sky over Cinderella Castle, you won't have a great view of the show while dining inside the castle at Cinderella's Royal Table. I find the best place to view them while enjoying a meal is actually outside Magic Kingdom Park. If you are a seafood lover I'd opt for a reservation at
Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This venue has an incredible menu (don't miss the Blackened Redfish) and offers beautiful views of the magic across Seven Seas Lagoon. Cast Members often try to time guests' dinner courses around the showing so you'll have the option to watch outside on the deck with accompanying music piped in. You'll also have a great view of the
Electrical Water Pageant from the restaurant as well.
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort is another dinner great option that offers a unique bird's eye perspective of the fireworks from an outdoor viewing area. I haven't had the chance to eat there yet, but I've only heard great reviews. You might also want to watch from the beach area at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort if you want a more casual dining experience or can't time your meal with the show. You can place a Mobile Order for Capt. Cook's and grab a DOLE Whip from Pineapple Lanai to enjoy as you take in the show with your toes in the sand. Each of these options I mention typically features the moving soundtrack for your listening pleasure.
If you're hoping to take in the show of EPCOT's newest fireworks I'd recommend securing a reservation at
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera. This venue features another delicious menu and offers views of the show from the rooftop patio. My family dined here last year and were lucky enough to see the show right from our table as we enjoyed a glass of sparkling wine and dessert. You won't be able to hear the music inside the restaurant (it's piped in outside) but we loved our comfortable seats and relaxed viewing experience.
The best place to experience these shows is always up close and personal so you don't miss any of the accompanying projections and details. However, any of these dining options will offer stunning views and a unique perspective. I know you'll enjoy no matter where you decide to dine.
Philip, please come back and see us again with any additional questions. We're always glad to help.
Magic and memories,
Amy
