Welcome to planDisney, Christine, where the lamps are magical and the genies grant wishes! You have a
Walt Disney World Resort visit just around the corner, so let's chat about transportation options between the theme parks. Your pal is lucky to have you along to make plans...they ain't never had a friend like you!
Spice Road Table is located in the World Showcase at EPCOT, so the closest park entrance is at the International Gateway. You have a couple of options from Magic Kingdom Park, but I recommend taking
bus service to Disney's Beach Club Resort and then a
FriendShip Boat to the International Gateway. You'll turn right once you're in the park, and the Morocco Pavilion will be just past France.
Since the walk to the buses at Magic Kingdom Park is hard to predict and could be long, another option is to hop aboard a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Hollywood Studios bus terminal is close to the FriendShip Boat dock; you'll see it to the right as you walk toward the park entrance. This option might also take a little longer since the boats make stops at resorts along the way, but it's a pleasant ride and will drop you at the International Gateway at EPCOT.
The
My Disney Experience mobile app is a fabulous tool for providing transportation suggestions. Tap the location pin icon at the bottom of the screen and select "Transportation" from the dropdown menu above the map. Tap your starting point on the map and then "Get Directions" to type in your desired location. This won't always give you the route with the least walking, but it might come in handy to show you ways to get from point A to point B, and it offers estimated travel times.
I recently tried the House-Made Hummus Fries at Spice Road Table, and I'm a fan! I haven't eaten at this restaurant often but plan to sample more of its offerings soon. Remember, the Morocco Pavilion has a FriendShip Boat launch near the restaurant to whisk you to the Canada Pavilion. This could save some steps if you're heading to other areas at
EPCOT.
Christine, as our blue Genie friend sings, "You got some power in your corner now!" I have faith, trust, and pixie dust that your visit will be wondrous. Please
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
