Hi Kathleen,
It's wonderful to see you stopping by planDisney with a question!
First, let me say hooray for being within your advanced dining reservation
booking window! My first suggestion would be to make sure you are signed into your
My Disney Experience account. If the website still does not allow you to make those reservations after you have signed in, sign into the
My Disney Experience mobile app and try there. When I have encountered this problem, it has typically been because I am not logged into My Disney Experience.
If you continue to experience problems making those advanced dining reservations, you can also
call to speak with a cast member in Website Support. Once you get into the site to make those reservations, if some dining locations do not have availability for the day and time you wish to visit, do not stress. Just keep checking the reservation system. We also use online alert services, so you could try one of those. Just do an online search for "Disney Dining alerts," pick a service (I have used a free one), and then set the alerts for the reservations you need.
While making those dining reservations, remember to consider your other plans as well. If you want to book experiences through the
Enchanting Extras Collection, keep track of those also. If for some reason I cannot
link a reservation or purchase in My Disney Experience account, I "Add a Note" in My Plans in My Disney Experience including the confirmation number for the experience so that everything shows up in My Plans. To add a note, just log into My Disney Experience online, go to My Plans, and then click on the + sign to Add More Plans.
I hope this helps! One of our favorite dining locations is
Tony's Town Square Restaurant at Magic Kingdom. We like to make a lunch reservation for 11:30 a.m. so that we can be one of the first people in the restaurant and we can request a table on the indoor or outdoor patio. Although the outdoor patio may not always be open, we love being able to view the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade from either patio (just double-check the times of the parade for the dates of your visit). Even though we do not get the full experience of the parade from this vantage point, it's a lovely view while dining.
Kathleen, one final tip - be sure to stop by the
EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival during your visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
