Can you get the dining plan without staying on a Disney property?

Hi Jamie! Planning Disney Dining experiences is almost as exciting as planning visits to the Disney Parks! My family has a favorite Disney Dining location in every park as well as in our favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels and at Disney Springs too!

The Disney Dining Plan is back at the Walt Disney World Resort for vacation arrivals that begin on or after January 9, 2024! The Disney Dining Plan is an add-on for Guests who purchase a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package. It cannot be purchased by Guests who are visiting the Disney Parks, but not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

I love the Disney Dining Plan because it adds “peace of mind” to my vacation! I like knowing that meals and snacks have already been paid for while vacationing. I also like that any meal or snack credits that go unused one day will continue to rollover for use on a later date during our vacation. You can also continue to use those credits up until midnight on the day that you checkout of your resort hotel, even after you’ve checked out!

There is so much to like about the Disney Dining Plan! I hope some of these tips have been helpful!

    Happy Planning!
